What can you count on?
- You pay per job
- Only one roofer, the first to take a job, ever gets the homeowner's contact details
- No commission or percentage on the work you win
- Homeowner details are never sold
- If a job's details turn out wrong, such as a fake number or work that isn't roofing, you tell us and we review it
What do we go through before you sign?
On a call, before you sign anything, we take you through the price per job and how it's charged, GST and invoicing, how long the contract runs and how you'd leave it, and how areas work, including whether any can be held by one roofer.
Every part of New Zealand is open to apply for, so that call is about your patch and your work, not about waiting for an area to open.
What do other New Zealand lead sites publish?
We read each site's own pages on 28 October 2026. Offers change, so check their current terms before relying on any of this.
Builderscrack sells Connection Subscriptions in three tiers, called Standard, Business and Advantage, priced in NZ dollars and excluding GST unless it says otherwise. A subscription gives you tokens, which you spend to connect with homeowners. The tokens a lead invite needs are set job by job, from things like trade category, location, job size, timing and how many tradies are interested.
Builderscrack only takes the tokens once a homeowner accepts your connection request, and it gives no token refunds after that point. Its policy lets no more than two other tradies be connected on a job lead invite at a time. When we looked, its plans page offered free local leads for 30 days.
NoCowboys charges businesses a registration fee to have their reputation displayed.
Bark sells credit packs but doesn't publish what they cost on its NZ pricing page. The credits needed to contact a customer depend on the service, the value of the job and local supply and demand. Credits are valid for 3 months, and a maximum of five professionals will contact each customer.
Our suggestion before you talk price
Know your cost per won job from every source you use now, whether that's a lead site, word of mouth or your own free Google Business Profile. With that figure on a scrap of paper, any offer, ours included, takes a minute to judge.
